3. What data you should (and should not) upload
AwardIQ is designed to analyse payroll data — not store sensitive personal information.
You can upload
- Employee identifiers (e.g. name or ID)
- Pay rates
- Hours worked
- Rosters and shift data
- Award classifications
Do NOT upload
- Tax File Numbers (TFNs)
- Dates of birth
- Residential addresses
- Bank account details
- Superannuation member numbers
This helps reduce risk and protect your business.
4. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including:
- Secure cloud infrastructure (Australian data centres where possible)
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Role-based access controls
- System monitoring and logging
Access to systems is restricted and controlled.

- The platform supports decision-making, it does not replace it

- Australian data residency is used where possible
- Some services (such as AI providers) may involve cross-border processing
