AwardIQ is:

  • A deterministic payroll rules engine
  • Supported by an AI assistant for explanations

AwardIQ is not:

  • A payroll system
  • A substitute for professional advice
  • A legal or tax advisory service

3. User responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete data
  • Use the platform lawfully
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

4. Prohibited data (critical clause)

You must not upload or input sensitive personal information, including:

  • Tax File Numbers (TFNs)
  • Dates of birth
  • Residential addresses
  • Bank account details
  • Superannuation identifiers

You are solely responsible for any data you upload.

We may:

  • Remove prohibited data
  • Suspend access if misuse occurs

5. Data ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you upload
  • You grant us a limited licence to process that data to provide the service

6. Intellectual property

All platform content, logic, and software remain our property.

7. AI and calculation disclaimer

Important:

  • Compliance results are generated using a deterministic rules engine
  • Outputs depend on the accuracy of input data
  • The AI assistant provides explanations only
  • AwardIQ does not guarantee compliance outcomes

8. No professional advice

AwardIQ does not provide:

  • Legal advice
  • Payroll advice
  • Tax advice

Users must seek professional advice where required.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Payroll underpayments or overpayments
  • Incorrect classification of employees
  • Reliance on platform outputs
  • Business losses arising from use of the platform

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from:

  • Your misuse of the platform
  • Your data inputs
  • Your breach of these Terms

11. Subscription and billing

  • Fees apply as per your selected plan
  • Payments must be made on time
  • We may suspend access for non-payment

12. Availability

We aim to maintain availability but do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime
  • Error-free operation

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:
